Saddam Hussein

Dictator of Iraq for over two decades, Saddam Hussein led the Baath Party, fought the Iran-Iraq War and the Gulf War after invading Kuwait, violently repressed Kurds and Shiites, and was overthrown by the US-led invasion in 2003 and executed in 2006.
